Sexy Muscle Girls

Orcs are tough and warlike humanoid creatures in various fantasy settings, appearing originally in the stories of Middle-earth written by J. R. R. Tolkien and derivative fictions. Orcs are often portrayed as misshapen humanoids with brutal, warmongering, sadistic, yet cowardly tendencies, although some settings and writers describe them as a proud warrior race with a strong sense of honor. They are variously portrayed as physically stronger or weaker than humans, but always high in numbers.

Shades of Goldfinger here as photographer Michael “Nic” Nicoletti coats a female bodybuilder in metallic gold pigment and photographs her in this fascinating photo shoot. I’m not sure who our athletic muscle girl is here, but no photoshoping or digital manipulation was used in this shoot and you will find many more examples of this technique as well as the rest of his portfolio at his web site.

One of the most celebrated comic book artists of our time, R Crumb is known for his artistic obsession of strong wholesome girls with muscular legs and asses built like a ’54 Buick Roadmaster. A big boned girl of statuesque height is his ideal woman, not at all skinny, but also never close to fat. I was stoked to come across a few pieces of art he had done for one of his illustration books featuring some muscle girls, so I tossed them into a small gallery along with a few other artworks in the same vein for your viewing pleasure.

It Came From Japan
You can find a lot of muscle girl art on the covers and pages of manga these days that has that dynamic look and exotic expression we’ve come to know from this particular style of art. I came across some good examples of these manga muscle girls doing their thing and made a picture gallery of a few of them to let you see too.

Stepping It Up To 3D
Like deviantArt, Renderosity is another excellent place to explore for muscle girl art. It’s an online art community and marketplace for digital artists, with special emphasis on computer-generated 3D graphics, 2D graphics, photography and animation. I tossed together a gallery of some of the examples of muscle girls I was able to find there, and I must say 3D art is really starting to come on now in detail and expression.

Amazon Empire was a graphic book that came out about in 2005 from Gallery Girls Collection that showcased some of the better artist of the sword and fantasy muscle girl genre. The byline: Weaker sex? Wishful thinking! This book portrays a pantheon of powerful female warriors, as illustrated by an international collection of artists. It also features art by Michael Bair, Glenn Barr, Jim Callahan, Jose Casanovas, DeMiguel, Jackson Guice, J.L. Marin, Esteban Maroto, Kevin Rasel, Sanjulian, Jeff Watts, and many others. Well okay, maybe only on Planet Photoshop is this remotely possible, but it sure looks like it would be an interesting alternative world to explore don’t you think?. For our 3rd gallery of muscle girl morphs we turn to that endless fount of artistic expression, deviantArt, and have found six different artist who have rendered some excellent examples of this genre for us to enjoy. Photographer Richard Wilson of Rianeli Studios creates some of the most innovative and wonderful body imagery around with detailed attention to colors, shapes, light and reflection. His focus  encompasses a wide variety of the female form, and lucky for us he explores muscle girls as one of his themes.

A pretty nice showing overall of technique and character rendition from four different sources: Bash-inc, Kick Sweet Punch Love, Kinsyo and FlowerCrown. Came across this well drawn comic on our favorite subject and thought I would toss it into the mix. Judging from the theme and costumes it is a period piece ala the eighties. Eight pages total to idle away a few minutes of your day.
